BSG Solar PV Energy Panels
Reliable Solar Energy Solutions
☀ What is Solar PV
Solar PV (Photovoltaic) is a technology which enables daylight to be converted into electrical power. It uses energy from the sun to create electricity that will in turn operate all electrical circuits and appliances in your home.
☀ Solar PV Panels - Photovoltaics

Solar PV panels require only daylight, not necessarily sunlight, and are therefore capable of generating electricity on cloudy days. Solar PV panels work equally well in urban or rural locations.

They can be installed on most house roofs and are easily connected to your electricity supply.

☀ Where to Site Solar Panels

Solar PV panels can be attached to angled or flat roofs, external walls or even on the ground.

They will work efficiently in most locations as long as no part of the panel is shaded from the sun and therefore south and south west facing locations are ideal.

☀ Light Required for Solar PV Panels

The amount of available daylight, and sunlight, varies throughout the UK. In this area, for instance, we have more available light than in the north of England. The total amount of energy available locally is approximately 1,250 kWh per square metre of Solar PV panels.

The energy available also varies during different seasons of the year with more daylight available in the summer than in the winter
